Ephemeral is an unusual tattoo parlour: its produces a "made-to-fade" tattoo. The technology behind Ephemeral’s ink has been in research and development for the past six years. With the first location opening up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn the funeral team collaborated with the client to sculpt the visual identity of their brand. The logo is actually four interchangeable logos, each positioned to fit the teams goal of "something between traditional tattoo shop (eclectic and heritage) to high-end salon structure (without being inaccessible) and a range of playful (hints the nature of the product) to clinical (for capturing the trust in in the technology).”
Ephemeral was made mainly for people who find tattoo shops intimidating, find permanence too “forever”, and/or just don’t want permanent marks.
